I’m a storyteller.
Whether it be in the classroom, in a blog post, in front of my community, on stage or through conversations with any stranger, I’m passionate about the connections we make, our growth, and campaigning for everyone’s hero journey. My role in this Shakespeare play is to be the voice of the people – and to meaningfully and enthusiastically engage. My genuinity, curiosity, and work ethic are my sparks of madness. And I do it in the hippie way, which guarantees to be a groovy time. 😉
I’ve dabbled in public school teaching, coaching youth soccer, becoming a subpar actress, digital marketing, freelance writing, and currently work as the Education Manager at the Discovery Center of Idaho, where I get to teach my community how to be curious. Eastern Oregon University is where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in English/Writing and a Masters of Arts in Education, with an emphasis on instructional design [and simultaneously led my collegiate soccer team from zero to hero]. Proud holder of teaching licenses for English and Theater Arts, in both Oregon and Idaho.
When I’m not being a motor of the world, I’m laughing or spitting freestyle raps with the love of my life, exploring the wilderness, biking the Boise Greenbelt, jamming to Dave Mathews too loudly, playing ukulele, or caring for my many plants. Heaven CAN be on Earth, nah’ma’sayin?
